from the 1950’s:
The times
are not what they were in the 1950’s and 60’s. Many traditions are no longer
observed. For instance, people just don’t seem to send birthday cards to
friends and relatives these days.
This year
instead of sacrificing for Lent, I’ve added something to my daily routine. When
I see someone’s birthday listed on Facebook or LinkedIn, I take the time to
wish the person a happy birthday. I did it for today’s gift and I will continue
the tradition throughout the season. Things change but it’s still the thought
that counts.
In Giving
and Wishing Happy Birthday,
Robin
