Surprise Birthday

Just in case someone thought they deserved a gift or that maybe his or her birthday had been forgotten, I left today’s gift in a grocery cart. I wrote on the envelope: “If you found this, it is yours. Have a great day!” Inside there was a Trader Joe’s gift card with a Smile Card asking the finder to pay-it-forward whether they think today is their birthday or not.
