One White, One Black

One is white.
The other one is black.

The white one is at least 3 feet shorter.
The black one looks bigger because of her thick hair.

The younger one has a lot more pep in her step.
The older one displays a measured enthusiasm.

One is an exact replica of a previous one.
One would be difficult to see on a dark night.

They both like wild animals, although for different reasons.
They both have equal enthusiasm for food.

The white one is a gatherer.
The black one is a hunter, but can’t hunt because she isn’t physically able.

The smaller one climbs to higher ground.
The larger one just jumps up.

Some may say they look like Mutt and Jeff, but regardless of looks these two dogs are the best of friends.

Today’s gift was to walk these two sweet dogs while their owner was out of town. After I left their house, I wondered if they “talked” about if I would return again. I’m sure they were glad to see their owner return this evening so they could get back to their normal routine of doing things that one white dog and one black dog do each day.

In Giving,

Robin
